In late 2007, we were engaged by VANOC to develop a wayfinding strategy for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games. Following meetings and workshops in Vancouver, we prepared a timeline and action plan to assist VANOC and its partners to develop an effective wayfinding program.
During 2008, we have been working further with VANOC's Look of the Games team on the development of a comprehensive Wayfinding Signage Standards Manual. The Manual will include the design and layouts for the suite of Games signs, and detail the processes for capturing and implementing the signs across all of the Games venues.
